By accessing and using TopicCanvas ("Service"), you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

TopicCanvas is a platform that generates interactive tutorials using artificial intelligence. Content is generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features (generating tutorials), you must create an account via email. You are responsible for the security of your account and all associated activity.

4. Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Generate illegal, offensive content, or content that violates third-party rights
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or security systems
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorisation
  • Extract data from the Service automatically (scraping)

5. Generated Content

Tutorials are generated by AI and provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the content for any specific purpose. Generated content does not replace professional advice.

Public tutorials (generated on the free tier) are available to all users. Private tutorials (Pro tier) are visible only to the creator.

6. Intellectual Property

TopicCanvas and its technology are the property of its creators. Generated tutorial content may be used freely for personal educational purposes.

7. Usage Limits

The number of tutorials you can generate depends on your plan. We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period. There are no refunds for partial periods.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Porto, Portugal.
